Grande’s first real estate purchase came during her whirlwind romance with SNL comedian Pete Davidson in 2018. The then-couple moved into a stunning $16 million apartment in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. Their relationship began in May, led to an engagement by June, and saw them settling into their 4,023-square-foot apartment with characteristically youthful enthusiasm—Grande even posted about their sparse furnishings in an Instagram story, joking about having "no furniture, 1 speaker and red vines.” The residence, a spectacular Zaha Hadid-designed building abutting the High Line, featured five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and stunning Empire State Building views from its 1,361-square-foot terrace. Following Grande and Davidson’s October 2018 split, the property sold for $13.5 million.

In 2020, as her career soared with the success of her albums “Thank U, Next” and “Positions,” Grande upgraded to a sleek $13.7 million contemporary home in Los Angeles’s swanky Hollywood Hills neighborhood. This purchase coincided with the beginning of her relationship with real estate agent Dalton Gomez (perhaps he had a hand in this deal). The 10,000-square-foot residence showcased Grande’s maturing taste, with a wellness center, 300-bottle wine cellar, and floor-to-ceiling windows framing breathtaking views. During her time here, she served as a coach on “The Voice” and sold the property for $14 million in 2021, making a modest profit.

During the height of the pandemic, Grande joined the celebrity exodus to Montecito, California, purchasing the Porter House for $6.75 million from Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. The 5,500-square-foot property became the setting for one of her most intimate moments—her secret wedding to Dalton Gomez in 2021. This unique residence, comprising two authentic 1700s English half-timbered barns, featured two kitchens and an orangerie, which connected the two historic structures. Grande later sold this romantic retreat for $9.1 million.

In an off-market deal in 2021, Grande acquired a modest but strategically located cottage in L.A.’s Bird Streets neighborhood for $8.9 million. While the 1946 structure spans just 1,500-square-feet, its true value lies in the impressive 0.74-acre hillside plot offering unobstructed views of the Sunset Strip. Due to its off-market status, details and photos are extremely scarce—especially considering its ultra-private setting, as it sits behind an extraordinarily long gated driveway. In January of 2024, Grande sold the home for $8.3 million to Puerto Rican rapper, Bad Bunny.

Most recently, in 2022, Grande acquired a Hollywood Hills hideaway previously owned by Cameron Diaz for $4.9 million in another off-market deal. Because the home was never publicly listed, photos and information are limited. But we do know that the 1,800-square-foot residence, featuring two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, was built in 1950 and underwent significant renovations in 2018, including a new roof and modernized amenities. This is her current residence.

Grande relocated to London in December 2022 to film Wicked at Sky Studios Elstree in Borehamwood, a production that would span over a year. She reportedly rented one of the largest apartments in the Buxmead development on The Bishops Avenue in Hampstead, a 20-unit luxury complex set on 2.5 acres. The apartment measured approximately 10,000 square feet and featured an express lift from the garage directly into the unit.

The building includes a uniformed security team, 25-meter swimming pool, cinema, spa, and offices. Similar units in the development are currently listed for sale at nearly £11 million, with comparable apartments on The Bishops Avenue renting for over £30,000 per month.

Grande referenced her time in the neighborhood on her latest album with a track titled "Hampstead," and told BBC Radio 1 she spent her downtime walking Hampstead Heath and discovering Sunday roast culture.
